While fear and doubt can keep us from reaching our potential in any endeavor, our hopes and visions of a positive end can help us attain our goals. When our thoughts reflect God's thoughts, this end becomes more sure: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end" (Jeremiah 29:11) . God knows the end from the beginning (See Isaiah 46:10), as does DNA, and both His Word as well as DNA become whatever they "declare".
We are all engaged in the resistance of something, whether for good or for bad. Identifying our resistances, therefore, is often the first step to discovering the direction in which our lives are flowing. One thing is sure; following the paths of least resistance will always lead us far away from attaining our potential. A life unchallenged is a life of no growth.
Realize that the power to change starts with a thought. Thoughts behave as do electrons and therefore they govern every interaction as well as every attraction and repulsion we experience. When we change our thoughts, we can thereby change our lives! Changing our thoughts will enable us to generate new hopes and visions, and this is none other than faith in action!
